Company structure

AGM Batteries Ltd (AGM) is a joint venture company which was established in 1998. Its joint venture partners are AEA Technology plc (60%), Japan Storage Battery Co., Ltd (22%) and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (18%).

AEA Technology plc has an eminent heritage in Lithium-ion technology, originally inventing and patenting the Lithium-ion materials technology, which is used in most portable electronics equipment today.

Established for over 100 years, Japan Storage Battery Co., Ltd is Japan’s longest established battery manufacturer, providing AGM with invaluable experience and expertise in manufacturing and materials.

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation is a world leader in the production of materials for batteries.
